Jack Hobbs

Players often get better when they don't play, at least that's what the fans think, especially if they are defenders. Although Jack Hobbs has been plagued by injury you can't put his continued popularity amongst the fans purely to this effect. His partnership with Manciene is often cited as the solution in times of trouble. It's not surprising as the pair are the 'smartest' available and although their respective problems with speed and size they work like a dream together. Hopefully Jack can get back out onto the pitch soon and prove his value by his deeds rather than his reputation.
