Maggie Thatcher
The Iron Lady, the UK's first female PM and someone who undoubtedly changed society one way or another. She was a dark horse, grocer's daughter who might have reasonably been expected to be be a do-er rather than a leader. As it was she will always be remembered as one of the greatest leaders and most divisive PMs the UK has ever had.
