Billy Davies: It Is What It Is - Former Nottingham Forest Manager - Signed A3 #GetBehindTheLads Prints

Regular price £19.99

A selection of designs we produced to coincide with his return to Nottingham for his 'It Is What It Is' event in February 2025. Billy Davies was always a controversial figure initially being a former Derby manager and then the second of his two spells at Nottingham Forest. The first spell was very successful with two playoff appearances and the second almost resulted in another however it ended acrimoniously and he hasn't managed another team since then despite his impressive track record. He might finally be on the verge of a return to the game and is still admired by many of the players he's worked with and the fans.

Limited numbers of hand signed prints available.

A3 shipped in cardboard backed envelope.

Billy Davies managed Nottingham Forest in two separate spells. His first tenure was from January 2009 to June 2011, where he led the team to the Championship play-offs in both seasons but failed to secure promotion to the Premier League. His second stint began in February 2013 and ended abruptly in March 2014 after a heavy defeat to rivals Derby County, amidst a winless run that left Forest outside the play-off positions. His time at Forest was marked by both tactical successes and controversies, including his strained relationships with the media and club management. Since leaving Forest, Davies has not managed another club, though he has expressed a desire to return to football management.
