Neco Williams - Nottingham Forest - A0, A1, A2 or A3 2026 Player Of The Season Prints

Neco Williams has become one of Nottingham Forest’s most dependable and energetic performers. Since joining the club from Liverpool in 2022, the Welsh international has established himself as a vital part of Forest’s defence, winning admiration for his pace, versatility and tireless commitment every time he pulls on the Garibaldi red.

Equally comfortable at right-back or left-back, Williams brings the modern full-back’s complete skill set. He defends with determination, loves to get forward and provides valuable width in attack, combining intelligent movement with dangerous deliveries into the penalty area. His speed allows him to recover defensively just as effectively as he supports the attack, making him an invaluable asset in both halves of the pitch.

A regular for Wales on the international stage, Williams has already experienced football’s biggest occasions, representing his country at the FIFA World Cup and European Championship. Those experiences have helped shape a confident and mature player who thrives under pressure and embraces responsibility.

Forest supporters have come to appreciate not only his quality but also his attitude. Whether asked to switch positions, mark dangerous wingers or drive the team forward late in matches, Williams approaches every challenge with professionalism, resilience and an unwavering work ethic. He is the sort of player every successful squad needs: dependable, adaptable and always willing to put the team’s needs first.

Still in the prime years of his career, Neco Williams continues to grow with Nottingham Forest. Quick, courageous and fiercely committed, he embodies the ambition of the club’s modern era and has become a player the City Ground faithful are proud to call one of their own.
