Vitor Pereira - Nottingham Forest - A0, A1, A2 or A3 #GetBehindTheLads Icon Prints

Vítor Pereira arrived at Nottingham Forest at a moment when the club needed clarity, calm and conviction. Taking charge during a turbulent 2025–26 campaign, he became Forest’s fourth head coach of the season, with the team sitting just above the Premier League relegation zone and still fighting on the European stage. What followed was exactly what supporters were desperate to see: structure, energy, belief and a squad that looked united again.

Pereira’s greatest success at Forest has been the sense of momentum he restored. Experienced, passionate and tactically bold, he gave the players confidence, brought personality to the touchline and helped turn a chaotic season into one with genuine pride. Forest’s run to the Europa League semi-final showed how quickly he had changed the mood, with the team rediscovering its courage and competitive edge.

For supporters, Pereira feels like a manager worth building around. He has managed big clubs, handled pressure across different countries and shown he can connect with players as well as organise them. Just as importantly, he seems to understand the emotion of Forest: the history, the expectation and the fierce bond between team and crowd.

After a season of change, the message for 2026–27 feels simple: continuity matters. Forest now have a chance to build rather than reset, to give Pereira time, backing and stability, and to see what his team can become over a full campaign. If he is allowed to keep shaping the squad in his image, Vítor Pereira could give Forest exactly what every ambitious club needs — direction, identity and belief.
